The Official English Open Warm-Up Event by PickleB

25-26th July 2026

 

 

In association with Pickleball England, PickleB.co.uk are delighted to offer a 24 court pickleball tournament on an acrylic surface with the ever popular X-40 ball, which will be used at the English open.

 

Venue: White Horse Leisure Centre, Audlett Drive, Abingdon OX14 3PJ

 

Tournament Divisions;

Twenty four divisions:

18+ Men’s doubles at “3.0”, “3.5”, “4.0" and "4.5 & over”. Saturday.

18+ Women’s doubles at “Up to 3.0”, “3.5”, “4.0" and "4.5 & over”. Saturday.

18+ Mixed doubles at “Up to 3.0”, “3.5”, “4.0" and "4.5 & over”. Sunday.

50+ Mixed doubles at “Up to 3.0”, “3.5”, “4.0 & over”. Saturday.

50+ Men’s doubles at “Up to 3.0”, “3.5”, “4.0 & over”. Sunday.

50+ Women’s doubles at “Up to 3.0”, “3.5”, “4.0 & over”. Sunday.

 

UK Pickleball Shop will be retailing at the Official English Open Warm Up Event, with a huge range of high quality pickleball equipment, including the latest models from Selkirk, JOOLA, Paddletek, SixZero, Engage, OWL Pickleball, and more.

It is always an absolute pleasure to partner with top pickleball travel firm PSO, who have just hosted a four day masterclass with Megan Fudge & Ryler DeHeart among several other top coaches.

 

It is with great pride that we are partnered with Manor & Ashbury Resorts, the first venue in the UK to install dedicated pickleball courts for public use.

These great hotels have been pioneers in developing facilities for a wide range of sports & crafts.

 

We are delighted to partner with Fox Pickleball, who provide an excellent range of pickleball equipment & accessories.

 

Price:

All entries are £35 per division entered. (per player)

Refunds are subject to a £15 deduction due to platform, transaction & administration costs.

 

Schedule:

The schedule will be published on the Monday evening before the event.

It is not possible to specify a start time or which part of the day a division will play as this depends on the sizes of all divisions as to what fits without causing long waits for players.

One division per player per day, as any two entries on the same day may clash.

Any clinic entries are scheduled to not clash with the matches for players that enter a clinic.

 

Registration on the day:

Register on arrival by writing your name in the appropriate box for your team on the printed sheet on the tables, any time before your first game.

Arrive on the right court at the right time for each of your games.

 

DUPR Results Submission by the crew at Jake Matthews Results Processing Services:

This tournament’s eligible match results will be submitted to DUPR following the event.

It is the responsibility of both players/teams to verify and sign off their match scores after completion of the round-robin and playoff matches.

Once results have been submitted to DUPR, no changes will be made unless there are exceptional and verified circumstances.

Match results will only be submitted to DUPR if at least one team reaches a score of 6;

All eligible tournament matches (inc. consolation matches) will be submitted to DUPR;

Walkover/no-show matches will not be submitted to DUPR.

Registration:

On registering, you will be sent a confirmation email confirming your entries as well as a special link back to the registration website (if it doesn't come through please check all junk folders before sending through an enquiry to let us know). This will take you to a players needing partners page where you must confirm your registered partners by sending a partner confirmation email. This means both you and your partner must be registered and then confirm your partnership to guarantee your entry as a doubles team into the event. If you have agreed a partnership in advance, you should follow the link in the email and click on the "Send Partner Request" icon next to the name of your proposed partner. They will receive an email asking them to confirm that they agree, and will be given the option to confirm yes/no. This automatically updates our system either way. In the event you don't have a partner and need to find one, you can use the "Contact" icon next to a player's name to start a conversation with them via email about potentially partnering up. If you have any queries or concerns then please don't hesitate to send through an enquiry and we will do our best to get back to you ASAP!

If you choose to add another event after you have registered, you can go back to your original registration confirmation email and use the link provided. If you need to change an event or withdraw from an event, you should also use this link.

I understand that filming and photographs may be taken at this event and I give permission to PickleB to use the creative content to advertise, promote or showcase the event. I understand that it is my responsibility to make it known that I do not wish to have my picture taken or my games filmed. Persons aged under 18 must be accompanied & supervised by a responsible adult."
