Welcome to the SOUTH WEST PICKLEBALL LEAGUE WEST - SWPL (West)

The SWPL (West) is a competitive inter-club league.

There are 4 teams in each division and each team plays the other teams in the division. Following each round the top and bottom team in each division is promoted or relegated, i.e. The top team goes up (or goes top of Division 1) and the bottom team goes down ( or vies for the title of strongest team in the league).

There are 8 rounds in the 2025/2026 season. Rounds will be played at Torquay Tennis Club, Clifton College or Exeter University on the following dates:

Round 1: 25th October, Torquay

Round 2: 15th November, Torquay

Round 3: 14th December, Exeter Uni

Round 4: 10th January, Torquay

Round 5: 1st March - Torquay

Round 6: 28th March - Bristol (Clifton College Sports Centre)

Round 7: 25th April - Torquay

Round 8: 17th May - Taunton (changed from Torquay on the 16th)

There is a season finale on 7th June 2026 with possible Regional Playoffs followed by the National Finals later in the year.
