West Northamptonshire Pickleball CIC is delighted to invite you to the Northamptonshire Doubles League, held monthly at our unique home venue in Weedon Bec. Following a successful first round, this league offers a fantastic opportunity to compete with players from across the county and the wider East Midlands region in a structured, competitive environment.

Facilities & Important Venue Information

• Accessibility: The Court Yard is on the first floor, accessible only via external stairs.
• Court Conditions: The ceiling height is lower than a standard sports hall, adding a unique tactical element to your matches.
• Lighting: The unit benefits from beautiful natural light via skylights. On particularly sunny days, we recommend bringing sunglasses or a baseball cap to manage any glare.
• Temperature & Environment: As an industrial space, the building is highly seasonal. It can get very cold during winter months and very hot during the summer. We advise bringing plenty of layers for the cold and staying well-hydrated during the heat.
• Amenities: Toilets are available on-site. Coffee, cold drinks, and snacks will be available for purchase throughout the session.

Session Times & Divisions

To ensure maximum play time on our two courts, the league is split into two 4-hour windows. Final division placements and specific start times will be released the day before the event (Friday).

• MORNING SESSION (Approx. 09:30 – 13:30): Divisions 1 & 2
• AFTERNOON SESSION (Approx. 13:30 – 17:30): Divisions 3 & 4

2026 League Dates (Saturdays)

Event Details & Cost

• Cost: £24 per person.
• Format: The league is restricted to 6 players per division, using a round-robin format where you play with and against everyone on your assigned court.
• Guaranteed Play: Every player is guaranteed a minimum of 6 games, with the potential for up to 10 league matches depending on the final format.
• Scheduling: We will initially fill the Morning Session. If demand is high, we will open the Afternoon Session. Please keep your full day clear until the final schedule is released on Friday.

Policies & DUPR

• Cancellation Policy: Any cancellations within 5 days of the event date are non-refundable.
• DUPR: All scores are uploaded to DUPR. You must have an active account at dupr.com before signing up.
