England Pickleball League (EPL) National Finals and how teams will qualify to represent the South East (SE) in the National Finals.

16 teams nationally will qualify to compete in the Finals for title of the best Club Team in the country!

National Finals – Date & Venue Update

The EPL National Finals will take place on:

📅 Saturday 4 July 2026

📍 Courtside Pickleball, Stourbridge

Please note that this represents a change of location from the previously advised Dan Maskell Tennis Centre, Loughborough.

Courtside Pickleball is one of the country’s newest purpose-built pickleball venues presenting a great opportunity for PBE to support and players to compete in another high-quality, dedicated facility.

Qualification for EPL National Finals from the SE Region

The SE region is represented by both the South East Pickleball League (SEPL) and the Kent & East Sussex Pickleball League (KESPL). The PBE National Directors have advised us that 4 places (out of the 16) will be allocated to the SE Region.

It has been agreed that the qualifying teams will be

• the top-placed team from Division 1 of SEPL and KESPL at the end of their season will automatically qualify for the National Finals, accounting for 2 of the available SE region qualification places.

• the remaining 2 qualification places will be decided via a Regional Playoff.

The Regional Playoffs will be held on:

📅 Saturday 20 June 2026

📍 Tunbridge Wells Leisure Centre (painted lines on acrylic tennis courts).

Playoff Format

The playoffs will consist of 8 teams (4 from SEPL and 4 from KEPSL)

• 2nd, 3rd and 4th placed teams in Division 1 at the end of the season and
• 1st placed team in Division 2

These 8 teams will compete (as shown below) with the top 2 teams progressing to the National Finals on 4 July 2026.
