Upper Age Limits

Singles - The upper age limit is the next age split up except for 50+. If you are over 60yo or 70yo and want to play normal singles you can enter the 50+ event.

Doubles - You are allowed to play down one age split but not more, the Upper Age Limits (UAL) are listed in the schedule above for each event.

Pickleball Wales reserve the right to amend the UALs if required while we will consider individual cases on a case by case basis.

The ball will be the Franklin X40 outdoor ball.

Event Capacity

The capacity of each event varies, initial estimates are based on entry numbers of recent events hosted by Picklebook. Pickleball Wales reserve the right to amend (up or down) the total places in each event.

Once an event is full you can join the "Standby" list, please use this as we will alter the capacities of the events once we see how popular each is reducing the capacity of less popular events and increasing the capacity of more popular events.

You can enter a maximum of one singles, one gender doubles, one mixed doubles & the team event.

Tournament Terms & Conditions

By ticking the terms and conditions box in your registration form, you agree to the following:

• Registration opens & closes at the discretion of the organisers.
• Cancellation and refund requests must be made by 11:55pm on Friday 31st July 2026.
• Registration fees are non-refundable but event fees will be refunded up to registration closing (11:55pm Friday 31st July 2026).
• Tournament director has the discretion to combine categories in the event of too few entries and also to move players between categories and their decision is final.
• Submission of Tournament results is at the discretion of the organisers.
• Promise to follow PickleballEngland & PickleballWales codes of conduct and uphold PickleballEngland & PickleballWales values.
• Signing this waiver:

"I release and discharge, for myself, my heirs, executors, and administrators, the organisers, the facility, its members, employees, and sponsors and all persons associated with the tournament from all claims, damages, rights of action present or future which may arise in connection with my participation in the tournament. I understand that filming and photographs may be taken at this event and I give permission to PickleballEngland & PickleballWales to use the creative content to advertise, promote or showcase the event. I understand that it is my responsibility to make it known that I do not wish to have my picture taken or my games filmed. Persons aged under 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult."
