Terms & Conditions

By entering the tournament and paying the registration fee you agree to the following terms and conditions:

- To follow Pickleball Englandâs code of conduct and uphold the values of Pickleball England.
- To follow the rules of the venue, as laid out by the said venue.
- Entries to the tournament are on a first come, first served basis. We reserve the right to put entries on a reserve list, if the event is over subscribed. We will keep entries informed and up to date on their entry status to the tournament.
- Registration will close on ??? or sooner if all of the tournament spaces are filled. No refunds will be made after registration has closed. If you wish to withdraw from an event prior to registration closing, then you will be charged a ÂŁ5 administrative fee.
- The Tournament Director reserves the right to alter the draw, categories, and age groupings at any time, in the event of either oversubscribed or undersubscribed entries. The Tournament Directorâs decision will be final.
- Photos and videos will be taken at the event and will be used by South Suffolk Pickleball Club to share news about the event, and to publicise any future tournaments. Images may be used in press releases, printed publicity and published on our website and social media accounts. If you would prefer not to be photographed, please email southsuffolkpickleball@gmail.com prior to the event. If you would like to see your images, or would like us to delete them, please email southsuffolkpickleball@gmail.com
- No player data will be shared with any third party and will only be used to organise the tournament. Player data will be deleted after the tournament has taken place by South Suffolk Pickleball.
- As tournament organisers we wish to run fun and competitive tournaments for all who attend to enjoy. We expect matches to be played fairly and within the spirit of the rules of pickleball. In the event that a player is deemed not to be playing to the spirit of pickleball, then they will be warned on their conduct. Persistent poor conduct may result in a player being removed from the tournament.

Release, Permission and Indemnity Agreement Waiver

In consideration of being permitted to participate in any tournament and event operated by South Suffolk Pickleball Club, I, the participant and player, hereby agree to fully release and indemnify South Suffolk Pickleball Club and any individuals acting on the Club's behalf to organise the tournament from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses arising from my participation, including those caused by negligence, whether foreseeable or not. I acknowledge that I am voluntarily assuming all risks associated with the activity, waiving any right to sue South Suffolk Pickleball Club or any individuals acting on the Club's behalf for personal injury or property damage sustained during my participation. These risks may include, but are not limited to â minor injuries, bruises, sprains, eye injuries, dehydration, cramps, bone injuries, joint injuries, muscular injuries, back injuries, collisions, heat strokes, concussions, heat strokes, heart attacks, paralysis, dislocations, fainting strokes and death. Playerâs participation is voluntary and it is the responsibility of all players to knowingly assume all such risks and be responsible for themselves. I agree to indemnify and hold South Suffolk Pickleball Club and any individuals acting on the Club's behalf harmless from all claims, actions, suits, costs, expenses, damages and liabilities, including solicitorâs fees brought as a result of their involvement in any tournament operated by South Suffolk Pickleball Club.
