About the APP

The Association of Pickleball Players (APP) is a premier global pickleball circuit, sanctioned since 2019.

It offers:

• 👥 Pros + Amateurs together in the same ecosystem
• 🎯 Open registration—anyone can compete
• 🚀 Pathway to the international pro stage

PickleballENGLAND is proud to have been partnered with the APP since the 2022 English OPEN in Southampton.

This will be our 5th year of bringing APP Pro Players over and the 4th year that the APP brings the Next Generation National Team over.

About the Global Pickleball Alliance

The Global Pickleball Alliance was formed at the 2025 English OPEN in Telford by 7 founding members:

APP, Canadian Pickleball League, European Pickleball Federation, Global Sports, National Pickleball League of Australia, Pickleball England, Pickleball D-Joy.

The Alliance more recently was expanded to include: Japanese Pickleball Association and Rallyworld Malaysia.

GPA is an international framework uniting nine professional pickleball organisations across North America, Europe and Asia-Pacific.

Together, we deliver a coordinated calendar of 30+ tournaments, unified world rankings and a clear pathway for players to compete at the highest level.
